These are volunteer groups that organize, lead, and sustain our ministries and activities.

Worship Arts & Music - oversees sanctuary seasonal changes, decor, decisions regarding worship.

- Altar Guild - prepares communion table and cleans up after worship.

- Ushers, Sound, Screen, Acolyte, Lector - service opportunities in our worship services.

Work Groups - a ministry of support and care for funerals and other church events. Every member is assigned to a work group, which serve in rotation - Group

leaders call down their list of members to request kitchen help, food donations, set-up, or clean-up assistance.

Student Loan - oversight of endowed fund created solely to assist members seeking assistance paying for higher education.

Stephens Ministers - trained and commissioned volunteers who assist in pastoral care, bringing communion to homebound and sick of our family.

Property - maintaining congregation property and grounds.

Parish Education - leadership for educational events and classes offered for members and visitors

Pray for Me Campaign - adults paired and praying for youth in our congregation.

Mission & Outreach - oversight for financial giving to outside ministry organizations, coordinates church service projects, hands-on projects.

Library - maintains collection of books, both fiction and non-fiction, for adults, teens, and children, for checkout.

Fellowship - fostering relationships among the congregation.

Evangelism - communicating who we are to the larger community of Sheldon. Assist in new member classes, visitor follow up, and other outreach events.

Endowment/Memorials - oversight of fund created to fund special mission projects outside the annual budget, designates 60% of interest each year for requests

submitted by members of the congregation.

Church Council - 9 members; 3 elected from congregation every year to serve a three-year term. Each member assigned to one of the above groups.
